Join Idaho author Kelly Jones at a book presentation and signing. Originally published in 2014 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Evel Knievel’s daring deed at Snake River Canyon near Twin Falls, Jones’s book blends fact and fiction.
It’s both a story inspired by the event as well as a collection of memories from those who witnessed it.
At this event at the Twin Falls County Historical Museum on Saturday 7 September (beginning at 1 p.m.), Kelly Jones will share insights on her writing process, let us know what inspired her to tell the story, and relay the impact Evel’s attempt to jump the canyon had on the people of Twin Falls, Idaho.
