Applications are now open for the Boise City Writer-in-Residence program, a six-month residency presented by The Cabin, the Boise City Department of Arts & History, and the Boise Public Library.
The selected resident will receive a $5,000 stipend to support their creative work and lead six free public literary events—such as writing workshops, reading series, or other literary experiences—that inspire, engage, and connect Boise’s communities.
Applications are due by July 28, 2025.
