Just spotted, and newly added to our Regional Writers’ Organizations page, the Eastern Idaho Writers League will be conducting a FREE conference this coming Saturday (11 April, 10 to 1) at the Idaho Falls Public Library.

…presenters will be three local authors, each speaking from experience to help you navigate the course to your writing goals. This is the perfect opportunity for you to meet and network with other writers and learn new tips to sharpen your skills.
Speaking will be:
- Colleen M. Story: Colleen writes award-winning historical fantasy and supernatural thrillers, including her Midas Legacy series. She helps writers stay motivated, focused, and creatively aligned through her multi-award winner Escape the Writer’s Web, her YouTube videos, and her new online community Writer’s Brain Studio. She grew up making stories while on horseback–and has been chasing imaginary worlds ever since.
- Louise Davis: Born in a small Idaho town, Louise loves animals and currently has a horse, two llamas, two dogs, two cats…along with a husband and five children! She received a bachelor’s degree with a focus in creative writing. Her family’s Gunstock Ranch on Oahu inspired her first children’s book, Grandpa’s Boots. She is also the author of the young adult thriller series, Haunted By You.
- Vanessa Thurgood: Vanessa is the award winning author of the young adult epic fantasy series, The Comstock Chronicles. When she’s not roaming the wilds of Idaho, you will find her selling produce at a roadside stand with her border collie, Ruby. She is currently wandering a volcanic desert with her series finale, The Phoenix and the Wolf, releasing this spring.
