Brain Medicine

Dr. Troy Rohn, neuroscientist and professor at Boise State University, has recently launched his first book, Brain Medicine: Breakthroughs in Gene Therapy for Anxiety & Other Neuropsychiatric Disorders, which combines new scientific research with personal experience.

With more than 30 percent of Americans experiencing anxiety disorders at some point in their lives—and with treatment costs continuing to rise—there is growing demand for innovative solutions that address anxiety at its biological roots.

In Brain Medicine, neuroscientist Troy Rohn, PhD, presents a bold and hopeful vision for the future of anxiety treatment. Blending cutting-edge neurological research with his own lived experience struggling with anxiety, Dr. Rohn introduces a first-of-its-kind therapeutic approach aimed at treating anxiety with unprecedented molecular precision. By targeting a key serotonin receptor through advanced gene-based techniques, he explores a promising new pathway for addressing chronic anxiety and related memory challenges. – from the publisher’s website
